What CGC provides

Guaranteed Performance and Energy Cost Savings

No upfront capital

CGC’s solution provides the opportunity to improve the building’s energy performance
without affecting its balance sheet.

Pay only for power generated

CGC eliminates the financial up-front cost of co-generation projects. From the start of the project, CGC will measure and verify the performance of the energy generation system using the most recognized independent protocol (IPMVP). Monthly reports will be provided to the building representatives demonstrating the electricity generated and cost savings through its Energy Savings Price Guarantee.

Solution

Our team of professionals have decades of experience in engineering and project development with a structured approach that mitigates implementation risk. This ensures performance guarantees and reduced energy costs while generating sustainable financial savings.

Our Team Projects

How it works

Four steps to lowering your utility costs by eliminating wasted energy and reducing your carbon footprint. CGC provides a seamless, single-source solution as our team designs, funds, installs, manages and monitors your building energy generation and retrofit program.

Step One: Energy Audit

CGC works with property representatives to identify and develop a customized solution which will reduce the property’s energy costs and meet all technical needs. CGC mandates the engineer to prepare a report detailing the project’s technical and financial viability. Once an audit is conducted, the data is used to create a CGC approved project.

Step Two: CGC Power Purchase Agreement

CGC creates a financial model based on the analysis received from the energy audit. CGC will present to the building representatives the potential short and long term “Guaranteed Savings” summary. CGC provides a Letter of Intent which includes the financial terms and conditions of implementing the cogeneration energy efficiency upgrade which is best suited for the building’s needs.
The Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) is a unique, non-debt, off balance sheet energy savings solution that covers building upgrade costs while decreasing its operating expenses. The energy cost savings are guaranteed for the life of the PPA.

Step Three: Installation

Following acceptance of the CGC project agreements, our engineers procure and manage the final design and installation process. Installation timelines vary depending on the project, with most projects taking eight to twelve months to complete.

Step Four: Measurement and Verification

During the terms of the agreement, CGC will monitor and verify the power performance of the co-generation and energy savings using the most recognized independent protocol (IPMVP). Periodic reports will be provided to the property representatives, highlighting the savings.
